Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh 250 kms / 5-6 hrs)
Morning drive by haridwar to Rishikesh, lunch en route on arrival chick in to hotel, evening visit temple and ashrams in Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula Aarti and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh – Ukhimath (200 kms/7-8 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Ukhimath Devaprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, from Devprayag the Holy River Ganges started), Rudraprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini River). lunch enroute. Arrival at Ukhimath by evening. Check into TRH. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Ukhimath – Devariyatal (2440m) 4-5 hrs
After an early morning breakfast set out for the trek to Devariyatal. The trail goes past the village fields and into the forest. It's gradual uphill all the way up to the beautiful lake of Devariyatal. and overnight stay at camp.
Day 04: Trek Devariyatal – Chopta (3000m) 6-7 hrs
The trail goes through the dense forest and stays on the ridge all the way to Tali. From here we descend for a while to cross a stream and then climb up gradually to reach Chopta, located in an idyllic setting having beautiful meadows and is surrounded by dense forests. And Overnight stay at camp.
Day 05: Trek Chopta – Tungnath (3680m) – Chandrashilla Top (4130m) – Chopta
Start early in the morning and climb up to the temple of Tungnath and beyond. Tungnath, one of the Shiva temples is the highest temple in Garhwal and has definitely a certain mystical/religious aspect which is quite based on the spectacular surrounding and views from there. Views which go far beyond the simple "view of mountains". The summit of the Chandrashilla peak provides a breathtaking 360 degree view. and overnight stay at Camp.
Day 06: Drive Chopta – Rishikesh - Delhi
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh further after lunch continue journey to Delhi Airport.l
