Auli, 16 km from Joshimath is an ideal winter Sport Center in Uttarakhand Himalayas. A 3 km long slope ranging from a height of 2519 to 3049 m is a major attraction. The Auli famous skiing center have snow beaters which beat the snow to keep the slopes fit for skiing at all times. A 500 m long ski-lift carries skiiers back to the slope top, thus saving them the trouble and time to bridge up wearing long skis.

Season: End December to March.

Equipment : We provides modern ski equipments. Participants are advised to bring heavy woolen clothings like caps, socks, gloves, mufflers, pullovers, trousers, wind proof jackets, dark glasses, gum / snow boots and a torch for personal use.

Auli Skiing slopes details :
A state of art ski lift ,which have been imported from France. The ski lift is 500 mts long, which makes it the longest in the country.
The slopes of auli also have the luxury of an 800 mts long chair lift, linking the lower slopes with upper slopes.
There are two snows – beaters imported from Germany Dressed and improved ski slopes, which makes the slopes of auli ideal for hosting skiing festivals and competitions.
A 3.9 kms long ropeway links joshimath with auli it covers a track distance of 4.15 kms and is the longest ropeway in Asia in zig back system. It has ten towers of self supporting steel structures with saddles and shoes remote controlled hydraulic and pneumatic braking system make it the safest ropeway.

This game is first introduced in 1970s. Snowboarding is done in four styles. The styles include split boarding, free carve, freeride, and freestyle. Doing snowboarding in winter season is an exciting and thrilling experience. The equipments require to play this sport is snowboard, snow boots, bindings, helmet, jackets, goggles and gloves. Snowboarding is done better in that area which is covered by snow so it is preferable to play this game in winter .Since snowboarding is done in winter season, so warm clothes are required which are suitable according to the situation and also be comfortable.
